Ray Kim presents a series of paintings & assemblage reliquaries. Almost every piece of organic material used, for creation, was collected within a 3 mile radius from Kim’s downtown Albuquerque apartment.

Ray Kim is a multidisciplinary artist, with a focus on tattooing. She has worked as a self taught tattooer for over 10 years, traveling the US & abroad. Her practice centers identity & environment, as reference. In 2024, her work was featured in Tattoo You: A New Generation of Artists, published by Phaidon Press. She was Risolana’s  2024 artist in residence. Kim lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
