No One Exists But You
Anran Zhang
April 15th - May 5th
at Alpaca

I believe how one feels influences how one sees the world. In this group of black and white architectural photos, No One Exists But You, I explore feelings such as loneliness, emptiness, and death. The building and what happens around it becomes our connection point to the world, where it seems like no one else exists but you. Plants, lights and reflections in windows are traces of our daily life, but just like we pass by those buildings, a person’s whole life is like a lonely pass through this world.
