"I am Levi Eleven, an analog collage artist from Albuquerque, NM, and I use the traditional cut and paste method to explore the surreal and the ideal. Originally created through a commercial lens, the source images promote a version of the ”American Dream” that is illusory, capricious, and represents only the few. Cut it up, remix, juxtaposition, satire are the tools. By dismantling and recombining these images, I am attempting to critique and reimagine a better version of that dream. The new curated images build a more honest and complex world and offers an escape to it.

I was born on the Great Plains and have lived all across the United States but call Albuquerque, New Mexico home.
I’ve dropped out of many prestigious schools (including SVA in Manhattan and SFAI in San Francisco) and spent years struggling with bipolar disorder until finding a medication that is effective and turning that churn into work.
