Our Mission
fourteenfifteen is devoted to creative community engagement and to giving experimental, underrepresented and emerging artists and collectives a space where they can take chances with their work.

- embrace expansive, inclusive and interdisciplinary thinking
- actively work with other collectives and arts organizations
- work with local charities like Street Safe New Mexico
- provide an open-minded, experimental space to artists of all levels, including emerging, underrepresented, and experimental voices
- provide flexible options for exhibitions and events, often outside the traditional gallery format, from one-day popups and short events to full-month exhibitions and programming in an open space format
- are willing to transform the physical space to suit the artist’s conceptual and artistic vision
- are a non-commercial space
- offer classes, workshops and hands-on experiences
- engage new, emerging, local, established, international, experimental, collectives, academic, DIY and interdisciplinary approaches and artists--but we focus on showcasing local and regional artists and creatives
- provide professional exhibition space for local BFA and MFA thesis students
- are funded out of pocket by the L.o.A. Collective members who believe in the value and importance of providing a quality, independent and experimental space in Barelas, in an area with a long history of important creative spaces
